Retail Sales Consultant – Something Comfortable

Job Summary

This year round full or part time position in downtown Rehoboth Beach requires a well-organized, detail oriented, reliable and energetic individual with strong sales skills who enjoys selling in a friendly upscale consultative retail sales environment. Retail sales experience is preferred, and specific sales and product training will be provided. This position reports to the Store Manager and requires weekends, evenings and overall schedule flexibility.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Primarily responsible for ensuring a great customer experience
• Ensures that the company’s team sales goals are met by effectively communicating product knowledge to customers and by following the company’s sales process.
• Performs various sales and register transactions including ringing purchases, processing of cash and credit card payments and counting money
• A working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
• Understands and follows the company’s policies and procedures as outlined in the Policies and Procedures manual
• Restocks merchandise and consistently keeps the store looking visually attractive to customers
• Store opening and closing responsibilities
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

• 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma
• Retail or sales experience preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Well organized and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
• Reliable and energetic
• Ability to lift and carry 30 lbs., climb

Pay: $13.25 - $25.00 per hour
